Jeremy Dunn was born with a deep seeded passion for anything that has to do with horses and cattle. In that passion also comes a respect and love for the history that is the Californio Vaquero. The history dates back to early California when this state was wild and untamed. The Dons of these early ranchos ran vast numbers of cattle, sheep and horses on open range where the vaqueros earned their keep horseback. There was no hurry in those days and to live by a watch or calendar was rarely needed. The vaqueros took great pride in their horsemanship and when it came to training horses, that same easy style to life applied. As the saying goes, there is always manana; no hurry, there is always tomorrow. That idea along with the ability to read what a horse needs just when they need it helps to make such a soft and responsive partner.
JB Cattle Company and Jeremy Dunn training operates on a 160 acre ranch at the South base of the Tehachapi Mountains. We are bordered on three sides by the historic Tejon Ranch land. This unique location allows Jeremy to give the horses a job and therefore a purpose. The horses love the challenge and learning comes easy to them. We run our own cow/calf herd keeping to tradition, we work our cattle horseback. Along with training, Jeremy and Brandie offer the occasional cattle and big loop style roping clinic along with traditional horsemanship methods of training and riding. Please visit our website for more information about us. www.JBCattleCo.com

Matt returns to the Expo this year with his Mustang Challenge mare, Luna, to perform and entertain as he teaches you his methods of Practical Horsemanship.  Matt placed 3rd at the Western States Mustang Challenge this June with Luna after only 90 days of training.  He and Luna also placed 2nd in the In Hand trail class and 3rd in the Horse Course during the preliminary rounds of the same competition.  Matt has become a much sought after clinician and presenter at his clinics around the country.  He is able to share his philosophy of horse training and riding in a way that people can understand and apply.  Matt has appeared in Western Horseman Magazine and on Rick Lamb’s The Horse Show, both on RFD-TV, as well as, Rick’s weekly radio program.

This year you will learn how to introduce your horse to cattle, advance your horse in cow working and tackle challenges with trail obstacles.  As always, you will be shown the steps needed to advance your horse in these skills.  Don’t miss this opportunity to see what Matt has to offer riders of all disciplines and ability levels!
