| WESTERN STATES WILD HORSE AND BURRO EXPODear Vendors, The Expo will be in Reno at the Livestock Events Center on August 17-19, 2007. Again, this year many new and exciting events have been added since I saw you last year. Many new people have already contacted us and are coming. A big addition again this year, is that Rick Lamb, www.thehorseshow.com is coming and he was doing a 3-day live remote broadcast from the Expo. He is also filming the Expo for all three days for RFD TV. We are very excited about the potential for the Expo and especially the exposure for the wild horses and burros. As our past vendors, you have first option at your booths back. After January 30, 2007, I will be sending out and allowing new vendors to reserve booths. Please let me know as soon as possible if you will be returning so I may hold your spot. I have enclosed a sample of our flyers that have already been distributed nationwide and through our clinicians. If you would like me to send any to you, we would greatly appreciate you handing them out in your travels as vendors. There are three solid days of clinics with many exciting new clinicians, Charles Wilhelm, Richard Winters, Donna Snyder Smith, Hank Curry, Matt Sheridan, Josh Foster, and David Lee Archer just to mention a few. We already have$3,000 sponsored for an exciting top end reining competition. Also the Cutting Arena is our adoption area holding those horses for display. 4 arenas going altogether for the biggest Expo ever. The vendors inside the main arena will be the only ones selling merchandise. We will also have a Bolo’s and Blue Jeans Mixer on Thursday night at 7pm in the Doc Bar Lounge. You are all invited to attend. There is a no host bar and we will have a “meet the clinicians” event and Cowboy and Cowgirl Poetry. Great fun, casual attire, and great place to get to know each other. Partnerships: As always, we will be hosting a raffle and auction with proceeds to benefit programs that help wild horses and burros in promotion and rescue work. As we are a non-profit, any donations and/or sponsorships are tax deductible and greatly appreciated. Please contact Cathy Barcomb for any additional questions or information needed.
