CONTE CRAFTS  Georgia and her husband have been with us for many years and have supported the efforts of the horse show crew. They make wood and western home decor items and you will find your unique one of a kind pony here. They make toy wooden horses on wheels similar to tricycles but much more fun for your children (and you). Each year they customize a horse with a BLM freeze brand and adoption papers for the lucky bidder in the auction. The horse comes with its own health certificate and brand inspection papers so you can take your new pet home to any state that you come from. They are one of a kind and very easy on the upkeep. Please stop by and say hello and thank them for their donations to help the horse program. They truly are committed to this effort.

CUSTOM COVERS BY CHERYL will be joining our vendors for the first time.  Cheryl hails from the sleepy community of Half Moon Bay, California.  Being a mule owner herself, she has first hand experience on what wonderful animals they are - and how hard it is to find quality items for them, and for their owners.  She uses her molly mule BEULAH for making custom blankets, packing tarps, etc.,to fit the special needs of mules.

LAUMAN TRAINING is proud to release their new DVD, "From Wild To Willing." Rick and Kitty Lauman are professional full-time horse trainers, and about half of their business is mustangs. They volunteer their skills preparing 2 horses for the High Desert Museum each year - this year's two, a palomino and a Kiger, sold for $3000 and $5000 to benefit the High Desert Museum. LIFESAVERS WILD HORSE RESCUE this wonderful organization rescues hundreds of horses every year, rehabilitates those in need, finds good adoptive homes, and works to educate people about the humane training and care of horses. Lifesavers is also our Event Sponsor - stop by and thank them!

NEVADA DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS This is Nevada’s inmate/wild horse gentling program from the Warm Spring Correctional Center in Carson City, NV. The inmates are trained in gentling and riding wild horses using safe humane methods. These horses are gentled under the supervision of trainer Hank Curry, who has also donated a training clinic for the Expo. The horses are offered to the public at quarterly adoptions where you can obtain a saddle trained wild horse that you can take home and ride the next day. They also offer training of adopted horses that you can select from the BLM or State of Nevada "estray" program. You may select the horse you want and have adopted and then place it in their training program which is much safer for you and your horse. TINDELL'S HORSE & MULE SCHOOL (HUMANS,TOO!)  Jerry Tindell has worked with horses since early childhood. He is known for his gentle and effective training techniques, as well as his ability to teach humans. He is amazing to watch, as he can take a very troubled horse and transform it within a short time to a soft trusting animal. Jerry has generously donated three days of training clinics to help you work and communicate with your horse. He is educating people and providing a safer relationship between horses and their families, you will be amazed by his teaching ability. He has material and videos that you may order online or purchase at the Expo and take home. He also conducts training clinics throughout the western (and occasionally eastern) states. VIDEO MIKE & SON OF VIDEO MIKE Video Mike and son, Aaron ("Cubby") Kerson, will be at the Expo with cameras, and can photograph or video you and your horse or burro in your competition. Mike can only video two animals per show class, so get your orders in early!
