The Western States Wild Horse and Burro Expo will be held in conjunction with American Legends and Wild Horses at the 5 Clover Ranch in Minden, Nevada. There will be a 2-day show, vendors, horse training clinics, silent auction and a phenomenal concert with several well known entertainers on Saturday night. The 5 Clover Ranch is a wonderful new facility about half way between Carson City and Minden with gorgeous views of the Sierras.

Matthew Coats has spent his life with horses. He began starting colts for the public in the late 1990's. Wanting to further his knowledge of horses and horsemanship, he spent the last 15 years surrounding himself with some of the top horsemen and horse trainers in the country and many top buckaroos and bridle horsemen from ranches in Northern California and Nevada. With his approach to horsemanship and horse development firmly anchored in what is now known widely as "Natural Horsemanship", he founded Carson Valley Horsemanship & Horse Development where he shares this knowledge with all horse enthusiasts from his facility in Gardnerville, Nevada.
